The Pretenders played Sheffield City Hall in May 1982, and a review in Hullfire (The University of Hull student newspaper) featured Photos 4 and 12 below, which I had taken earlier at a Hull University gig on Thursday 7th of February, 1980, where UB40 were the support.
This page (as of July 2016) now features many previously unseen photos (Nos. 4, 10, 12, 13, 22, 23, 24, 33, and 35 were posted previously, starting from March 1997), including some of UB40.
To capture these images, I used 400 ASA black-and-white film, uprated by extended darkroom processing, in a Praktika camera, developing and printing them in the Hull Students' Union darkroom.
